In Honor of Omar Zuberi
CommuniKeys is deeply grateful to NTT DATA Business Solutions, My Supply Chain Group, and everyone who participated in the Omar Zuberi Open for raising $4,800 in support of our mission.
This meaningful gift was made in honor of Omar Zuberi, co-founder and managing partner of My Supply Chain Group. Omar’s life and legacy continue to create impact through the people, relationships, and work he helped build.
Omar and Odell Smith met more than 25 years ago while working on an SAP project and became close friends. Over the years, they continued working together as colleagues across multiple projects. In 2008, Omar, Naren, Suraj, and Dan formed My Supply Chain Group, and Odell began working with MSCG full time in 2011.
In 2019, Odell, Josha, and Kaegan began the work that would grow into CommuniKeys, with a shared commitment to supporting communication development, community participation, and meaningful opportunities for minimally speaking and nonspeaking individuals. Omar was a dedicated supporter of this mission.
In 2020, NTT DATA Business Solutions acquired a majority stake in My Supply Chain Group, and Omar quickly became connected with the executive team there. Following his untimely passing, this team organized a benefit golf tournament in his honor: the Omar Zuberi Open.
We are especially thankful to Omar’s wife, Saema, for selecting CommuniKeys as this year’s beneficiary.
These funds will help create meaningful opportunities for autistic, minimally speaking, and nonspeaking individuals to participate, connect, and thrive in their communities. We are honored to be part of this tribute to Omar and grateful that his legacy continues to support communication, participation, and belonging.
