About the event
Join CommuniKeys for Open Rec, a regular opportunity for participants and families to spend time together in a relaxed, flexible recreation setting.
Open Rec is intentionally unstructured. Participants can choose how they would like to spend their time based on their interests, energy level, and support needs. Depending on the day, activities may include games, basketball, exercise, purposeful movement/WAVE activities, time with peers, or simply hanging out and enjoying the space.
There is no expectation that everyone participate in the same activity. Participants are welcome to observe, take breaks, move between activities, or engage at their own pace.
Schedule:
For Monday, November 2, Open Rec has adjusted hours of 2:00–4:00 p.m. Families are welcome to participate for the portion of the recreation period that works best for them.
