Grow to Gather: Harvest & Salsa Making

We’re turning our Grow to Gather harvest into fresh salsa!

During this relaxed afternoon gathering, we will harvest the tomatoes, peppers, herbs, and other ingredients that are ready from our gardens. We will then work together to prepare as much fresh salsa as our harvest allows. The finished salsa will be featured at the CommuniKeys cookout on Thursday afternoon.

Participants are welcome to join in at whatever level feels comfortable. They may help harvest ingredients, wash produce, make simple preparation choices, observe the salsa-making process, offer feedback, or serve as an official taste tester. No one is required to handle food or use kitchen equipment to be part of the experience.

Angela will operate the primary food processor and any other kitchen equipment requiring additional support. We will offer simple, accessible ways for participants to contribute while keeping the experience comfortable and enjoyable.
