About the event
Join CommuniKeys for a relaxed walk around Prospect Ponds and the Poudre River corridor. We will look for waterfowl, notice the changing pond and river habitats, and pause to explore what interests the group.
Route and terrain: A short combination of paved Poudre Trail and unpaved pond-side paths. We will aim for approximately 0.5–1 mile on a selected portion of the trail network, adjusting the distance and natural-surface section for the group and ground conditions.
Meeting point: Prospect Ponds North Trailhead on Sharp Point Drive, south of Prospect Road. Use the COTREX trailhead link below for the exact entrance. COTREX lists no restroom or drinking water at this trailhead; please plan ahead. Some paths are close to open water.
Time: Wednesday, 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Please arrive ready to gather at 11:30. We will allow time to settle in, walk together, pause, and return without rushing.
