Join CommuniKeys for a relaxed outdoor hike at the CSU Environmental Learning Center in Fort Collins.
This outing is an opportunity to get outside, move together, explore a local natural area, and enjoy time with the CommuniKeys community. As with our other hikes, the goal is not speed or distance. We will move at a pace that works for the group and allow time to stop, observe, communicate, explore, and take breaks along the way.
What to Expect
We’ll meet at the Environmental Learning Center and head out together for an easy-paced trail walk. Depending on the group, weather, and individual participation that day, we may complete a longer loop or choose a shorter route.
Along the way, students can participate in whatever way is most accessible to them. That may include walking the trail, noticing the environment, communicating observations or choices, stopping to investigate…
